Mandy Shepherd: Remember, Reclaim, Re-imagine
We are so proud to present Mandy Shepherd, University of Huddersfield Textile Design Student.
From Materials to Realisation. The project, ‘Remember, Reclaim, Re-imagine,’ highlights the use of discarded materials transformed into unique elements. Inspired by Wakefield Cathedral, it repurposes basic items into intricate coils and abstract florals for goldwork. Materials include:
• Metal discs from used tealight holders at Cathedral prayer stations
• Jewellery wire
• New and reclaimed beads
Mandy joins us for Unseen, our first ever Artweek fringe exhibition in The Long Wall Gallery
Join us for wine & nibbles on the preview, Sunday 6th July, 12 - 3 pm.
Unseen is open daily 12 - 3pm, and until 8pm on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th.
We look forward to meeting you and celebrating Artweek with us!
